About the Project

In order to promote international collaboration and bolster research output in Korea, the Korea Foundation sponsored a joint research project between a South Korean University (SKKU) and the University of Utah to explore issues around migrant health.

Each institution supplied research faculty and 1-2 graduate students to work together on a predetermined area of interest. The data collection period in South Korea occurred between June and July 2018.

My Role

I was selected for the Graduate Fellowship in International Immigration and Policy Research with the Public Health and Assessing Healthcare needs in Immigrant Populations team. My South Korean counterpart and I disseminated quantitative surveys to assess migrant health from a holistic perspective.
